When will I be charged?
This is the process when a booking request is submitted:
- Payment Submission: When you submit a booking request with your payment info, a transaction is created in your payment system. However, at this stage, the charge is marked as “pending.” This means that the funds are reserved but have not yet been paid.
- Pending Status: The pending status indicates that the booking is awaiting acceptance by us. During this time, the payment information is securely held, and the amount is temporarily reserved on your card.
- Booking Acceptance: Once we review the booking request, we will let you know whether it will be accepted, and ask that you re-confirm your request before finalizing. We may request you confirm certain rules and guidelines. Once we accept the booking, the status changes from pending to finalized. At this point, the funds are paid, and the transaction is completed.
- If a Booking is Not Accepted: If we do not accept the booking, the pending charge will typically remain for about 3 days. After this period, if the booking remains unaccepted, the pending authorization is released, and no funds are charged to the your account.
- Notification: You will receive a receipt and confirmation by email when the booking is accepted the charge is finalized.
